First of the ESN-ISN Advanced School
First of the ESN-ISN Advanced School will take place in Athens, Greece, under the auspice of the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA) on September 19-26, 2021.
Entitled “From Neurodegeneration to Neural Carcinogenesis: Mechanisms and Common Biologies”, this ESN-ISN School will bring together 24 young scientists (PhD students and postdocs, competitively chosen) from European and neighbouring countries with distinguished faculty to explore the mechanisms of the common functional pathways in neurodegeneration and cancer.
For one week, attendees, who will receive full support for air (bus/train) travel and all incurred expenses (hotels, transportation, meals, visit to Acropolis, consumables, etc) during the School term, will take part in 22 advanced scientific lectures, discussions, poster presentations, and will have the opportunity to choose from 14 different state-of-the-art, hands-on laboratory modules, according to their own interest; more details on https://www.esn-isn-school-2021.org/
