About the LNA

The Lithuanian Neuroscience Association (LNA) is an independent, limited-liability public legal entity that brings together individuals and organisations active in the field of neuroscience.

The main objectives of the LNA are to promote experimental and theoretical research and education in the nervous system sciences, disseminate major advances in neuroscience, support the academic interests of its members, develop links with researchers in other countries, and organise joint events.

The Lithuanian Neuroscience Association was established on 20 January 2004. In 2008, the LNA joined FENS — the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies, and in 2017 became a member of IBRO — the International Brain Research Organization.
